Raith Rovers 2  Cowdenbeath FC 2

Date: 13th April 2013 Kick off: 3:00pm
Competition: Irn-Bru 1st Division Referee: William Collum
Venue: Stark's Park Attendance: 1574

A spectacular Jamie Stevenson free kick four minutes from the break gave us our first away win since early September and ensured that we finished the season undefeated against the Rovers.
There were two changes to the side which had drawn with Livingston with the injured duo of Scott Linton and Craig Moore being replaced by Kenny Adamson and Kyle Miller.
We had the first chance of the afternoon after just three minutes when Stevenson fired in a 35 yard free kick which was turned for a corner by McGurn.
Clear cut chances were few and far between with Graham sending a Grant Anderson cross over the bar while Mensing headed over from a Walker corner.
Soon after another Walker corner Flynn denied Graham but once again it was Cowden who came closest to breaking the deadlock ten minutes from the break when Stevenson unleashed another long range effort which was once again turned away by McGurn.
It finally proved to be third time lucky for Jamie Stevenson four minutes from the break when he finally beat McGurn with a 25 yard free kick which flew into the top right hand corner of the home net.
The start of the second half saw both player/managers replace themselves with Ramsay coming on for Cameron and Cardle replacing Murray.
It was Cardle who almost set up an equaliser on the hour when his cross was partially cleared by Flynn with Walker picking up the ball before his shot was blocked by the Cowden defence. The ball eventually fell to Grant Anderson who was twice denied by Flynn.
Cardle was proving to be a handful and soon after he sent in another dangerous cross with Walker seeing his shot from the edge of the box blocked.
Stevenson picked up an injury in the flurry and was replaced by Brett.
Spence was then set up by Cardle but Flynn did well to block his shot while at the other end we almost grabbed a second goal 15 minutes from time when Stewart ran into the home box but his deflected shot came off the post.
