After the previous weeks disappointing result at Links Park we got our League Cup campaign back on track against Berwick at Kinross High School on Sunday afternoon.
Despite dominating the first half the score remained goal less at the interval but the deadlock was finally broken nine minutes into the second half when Ben Anthony fired home an angled shot.
Dan Hall doubled our advantage in 62 minutes with a fine solo goal when he picked the ball up just inside the Berwick half and breezed through the visitors defence before firing the ball past keeper Malcolm.
Craig Johnston made it 3-0 in 75 minutes when he slotted home the rebound after Malcolm had blocked an Anthony effort.
With ten minutes remaining Lea Schiavone shot home from a Ben Anthony cross and a minute later Anthony added a fifth from eight yards.
The late goal burst continued and in 83 minutes Johnston lobbed Malcom from ten yards and in the dying seconds he completed his hat trick  , firing high into the net, after being set up being set up by Callaghan.
