A goal from Reece Sawers with twenty minutes to go gave a shadow side a narrow win in a friendly match at Central Park. Robbie Neilson sent out a strong Hearts side for the opening 45 minutes which they controlled and we had Thomson to thank for keeping the score blank.

The Hearts coach however changed his entire line up after the break and in a more even contest we came more into the match and with 70 minutes gone SAWERS took advantage of a shot pass back from Scott to slot the ball past Gallacher. Minutes later Mitchell found himself in a similar position after another slack defensive pass but sent his shot over the bar.
