Two goals in the closing four minutes gave the Warriors an unlikely point after we looked to be in control with a two goal cushion going into the closing stages of the match.
After the heavy defeat at Ayr the previous fortnight Pat Scullion and Dean Brett came back into the starting line up with John Armstrong and Declan Hughes dropping out.

The match was delayed for 15 minutes after some of the visiting players were held up in roadworks on the Forth Road Bridge.
When the game eventually started it was a quite opening with the first chance coming in 11 minutes when a Paterson cross was met by McMenamin whose header drifted inches wide.

Then in another Stenhousemuir attack a shot Cook cross hit Donaldson’s chest and rolled wide.
With 23 minutes gone Brett saw a curling shot come off the bar and in the follow up Callaghan’s shot was turned for a corner by Barclay.
From Murdoch’s corner we opened the scoring with Brad DONALDSON heading home at the near post.

On the half hour a Spence cross was guided past his own post by Meechan then Smith sent a shot over following a cross from Donaldson.
As the first half drew to a close former Central Parker Robertson latched onto a Paterson cross but his 20 yard shot was held by Sneddon.

The visitors opened the second period brightly and McMenamin shot just over while Cook brought a good save out of Sneddon.
However in 69 minutes we doubled our advantage when Miller sent the ball to Greig SPENCE who cleverly fired a low shot past Barclay.

With 10 minutes to go Adamson cleared a shot from Meechan off the line but six minutes later the Warriors pulled a goal back when Ross MEECHAN headed home following a Gilhaney corner.

Sensing the chance of a point Stenny kept up the pressure in the closing minutes and got the equaliser with a minute to go when sub Lewis SMALL fired the ball home on his debut.
