Like last season the Lowland League kicked off with a game with Celtic B at the Excelsior Stadium.

We got off to a dream start when we took the lead after just two minutes when Gregor JORAN headed home at the back post from an Aiden McLaughin corner.

Things got even better two minutes later when Ewan MacPHERSON latched onto a mistake by Daniel Kelly and ran through to find himself one on one with keeper Josh Kelly and cooly slotted the ball past the custodian.

Both sides had their chances with Celtic’s Ben Quinn seeing a shot come off the post at the start of the second half.

After we failed to get what would have been a killer third goal, despite numerous chances, the hosts pulled a goal back with just three minutes to go when Mitchel FRAME hooked the ball high into the net following a corner.

Worse was to follow in the 90th minute when a cross into the box reached sub Corey Thomson who laid the ball off to MacKenzie CARSE who slotted home from eight yards.
